Olubowale Victor Akintimehin well-known by his stage name Wale was born on September 21, 1984, in Northwest, Washington, D.C.

Wale did his graduation in 2002 from the Quince Orchard High School located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Later on, he went to Largo, Maryland.

Wale remained in a relationship with the model Claudia Alexis Jourdan. In July 2016, they had their 1st baby Zyla Moon Oluwakemi


Wale announced his 1st non-go-go real single, entitled “Uptown Roamers“. He made to the public his single under the moniker Good Girls whose producers were Demario Bridges and Gerard Thomas. He made his presence on the remix of Smile from Lily Allen by Mark Ronson. Adding to it, he made a deal with Allido Records by Ronson in 2007.
