Huckabee was born on 24th Aug, 1955. His birth place is Hope, Arkansas. He was brought up in a working-class and so he considers that to be a most important turn in his decision to join politics. His father served as a firefighter and he was also a skilled mechanic. His mother was a clerk at a local gas company.
Huckabee got his Bachelor’s degree B.A from Ouachita Baptist University in 1975. Further he proceeded with higher education for which he decided to go to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for the Master’s degree and completed it in 1980.

His first job was when he was 14 years of age at a radio station. Here he read news and weather reports. Later he perused campaigns and got elected as the governor of Arkansas. He was a student council vice president and later President of his Hope High School in early years. He entered into professional politics in 1972.
In 2008, he hosted a weekend show named Huckabee which started from September, 2008 and aired till January 2015. It aired on Fox News Channel and Huckabee ended the show because he wanted to run a campaign of President. Eventually Huckabee became an ardent supporter of Trump and hence truncated his proceedings to become the President.
