He took major as Broadcast journalism in Brooklyn, New York from Brooklyn College. While he was at college, he worked as a news assistant at WNYW. He attended Louisiana State University.
Career and Professional Life
In the early days of his career, Lemon worked as a reporter to WBRC Alabama. There he worked as a weekend anchor. Not only that but he started to work in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and St. Louis. At St. Louis he was an investigative reporter for KTVI. Afterwards Lemon got an opportunity to work for NBC News’ New York operations. He was a reporter there as well.
In addition to that, he also worked as a correspondent to Today and another Night show: NBC Nightly News. His career took a major turn when he became a reporter in Chicago at NBC O&O station WMAQ-TV and a local news co-anchor.
During Working with NBC , his destiny took him to CNN. He joined CNN in September 2006 and from then on he has been quite an outspoken anchor. He has spoken on many issues regarding African-Americans. He has also put forward many opinions on how the community can make itself better.
